Frequently Asked Questions

Therapy will work for you, as long as you are open and willing to do the things, that you have learned during your sessions.

My main goal is for you and others to be safe.  Therefore, therapy is totally confidential, unless any of these 3 things occur:

  • If you tell me that you are going to do harm to yourself.
  • If you tell me that you are going to harm someone else.
  • If there is any belief or if you inform me that a child or an elderly adult is a victim of neglect or abuse.

These are the limits to confidentiality and if these occur, confidentiality will be broken to ensure that you and others are safe.

Expect to be given my undivided attention, expect to be listened too, expect to be challenged and expect honest feedback.

There is no time limit in therapy. Every person’s issues and needs are different. Therapy can be a short or long-term experience for you.

To book a session, visit the “Rates and Insurance” tab and enter your contact information. I will then contact you, to schedule a session.
